Which HID FARGO Printers Work With Genetec Security Center?

Genetec Advanced Enrollment 3.3.0 lists the HID FARGO DTC4250e, DTC4500e and HDP6600. The DTC1250e is not included in Genetec's supported-device list for this release.

Compatibility also depends on the complete configuration, including Security Center 5.10.4.0 or later, Asure ID 7.8.6.537, the correct printer firmware and driver, and an OMNIKEY iCLASS SE 5127 when card encoding and enrollment are required. Confirm the current configuration with Genetec or your security integrator before ordering.

Workflow note: Genetec documents a known issue in which a newly created QR-code or barcode credential can print an incorrect value if it is printed before it is encoded and enrolled.

Before You Choose

Single- or dual-sided: Choose dual-sided printing when badges need information, instructions or barcodes on the back.

Direct-to-card or retransfer: Direct-to-card is economical for everyday production; retransfer provides premium over-the-edge results and works especially well with technology cards.

Encoding: Add magnetic-stripe or smart-card encoding only when your credential program requires it.
